Methinks the sales price will begin with an 8.
Fantastic original details, sub-par kitchen and baths, sketchy section of Victorian Flatbush, hike to Cortelyou Road amenities. Won’t get more than $999, tops, and any price near that would be due to the wealth of unusual detail.
Gothic-arch-topped mosaic-y brick fireplace and double-curvy bannisters: priceless.
Really cute, with so many well preserved and unusual details. I’ve never seen a cornice/eaves like that.
I much prefer this one 2 blocks away:

Nicer decor and $875,000. Of course, it doesn’t have a rental on the top floor, but I would prefer paying a bit less and having more private space.
Still quite a walk to DiFara’s from here.
What’s unusual about this is the top floor rental, so it is hard to evaluate this in comparison to other houses around here. It would be surprising if this closes at 950K or above, but then again I don’t live in this nabe.
“Way underpriced. If you live here DiFara’s is your local pizzeria!”
Heehee.
Floor plan.

This house has the potential to be a really beautiful family house with some changes, but appears to be move-in livable as is. There are more pictures on the broker’s site. It’s a shame about the enclosed enclosed porch because it makes the parlor windows very dark. But they also appear to have curtains on what would be the outside if the porch weren’t enclosed so maybe without that it would be less artificially dark. The kitchen is appears to have been unsympathetically modernized in the least 10-15 years. But there are original baths, and great original details. That detailing under the eaves is neat.
