We’re not entirely sure what the story is on this one, but a reader who saw the house this weekend just brought it to our attention and there’s some urgency to the matter. According to the Craiglist ad, the house goes to auction tomorrow and the owner is, in real estate parlance, quite “motivated.” We didn’t find any mention of its foreclosure status on Property Shark so we have no way of knowing whether this is just a tactic to attract attention (if so, mission accomplished), but thought we should err on the side of sharing on this one. Anyone know anything more about this?

It is all in the way you say something, in this case the way you ask. This person knew exactly what they were doing and it had nothing to do with being informed.

Why respond to a question phrased in such a way?
Jefferson Ave runs about 4 or 5 blocks parallel to Fulton Street depending on where you start. Some of the blocks are very beautiful the NY times wrote an article about the families on Jefferson Ave
Where the hell is Jefferson Avenue?
It pays to at least read the hyperlink, huh? 732, I got it. I spoke with the broker joyce and she said the auction is for tomorrow at 360 Adams street at 2pm. Property appraised last year for $580k, she tells me. Said, the judge wouldn’t let it go for under $500k. Short notice for someone really looking to buy. But may be a decent purchase after renovation.
Where on Jefferson is this located? Cross streets anyone know?
Sign of the times (or should I say reversal of). Buyers bid up, sellers bid down.
