House of the Day: 286 Van Buren Street

We decided to search the New York Times listings to find the nicest house we could for under $700,000. Our verdict? This three-story, three-family for $699,000 on Van Buren between Lewis and Stuyvesant Avenues in Bed Stuy. Given the lack of interior photos (argghh!), we’re flying a little blind here but the condition of the exterior combined with the verbiage alluding to “good bones” gives us a good feeling about this one. It just hit the market which may explain why there aren’t more photos up yet, but still, this is your job, brokers!
