“Vintage dresses, asymmetrical haircuts, chunky eyewear, the Shins — just your typical evening in Williamsburg,” writes Adam Bonislawski for the NY Post. “But instead of Bob Pollard 7-inches or why the new season of ‘Veronica Mars’ sucks, the hot topic was real estate.” Bonislawski is talking about the “Homebuying for Hipsters” seminar, which took place on Tuesday at Black Betty. (Um, a real estate seminar for aging cool kids is one thing, but since when is ‘Veronica Mars’ aimed at hipsters?) “This is my demographic and these are my people,” said Benjamin James broker Eve Levine, who organized the event. “We’re not people who are working for the same company for 30 years. We’re building communities of business and creativity, and that can extend to real estate, too.”

  1. I LOVE Williamsburg

    and i just purchsed a co-op !

and frankly …. i am not even sure how i did it

I work in the music industry so buying a co-op and the process was the most foreign thing to me – as much as I was compelled to “pretend I knew what I was talking about – errrr – I really didn’t

I think having a “Home buying for Hipsters” seminar is a great idea .
I wish they had something like that a few months ago – but any way I used the services of a guy named Barry Koven from Wells Fargo.

Friendly guy who didn’t screw me – and I would gladly recommend him
