After the Williamsburgh Bank Building, we skipped the next place on the list 115 Fort Greene Place, which we gather from the brochure is a double-wide modern townhouse. Hopefully someone can fill us in below. The next stop for us was 6 South Portland Avenue, a spiffy Parlor-floor condo. The owner had clearly spent a lot of thought and money on maximizing every square inch of usable space in this apartment. It looked like all-new custom cabinetry and doors in a traditional style. Lots of storage, small but well designed kitchen and an indulgent tiled bathroom. The sense of space in the apartment was helped greatly by the full-length windows and doors that opened up onto a deck that overlooks the garden in the photo at right. We overheard someone saying that the owner already went into contract to sell the apartment. GMAP
