The exquisitely renovated and decorated Park Slope home of actors Emily Blunt and John Krasinski sold last month for $6,562,500 — considerably less than the $8 million ask. The sale just hit public records.
The pair purchased 586 4th Street in 2015 for $6 million, renovated with top-tier architect firm Baxt Ingui and put it on the market in 2017.
The 1909 French Renaissance limestone in the Park Slope Historic District is a looker with space to burn. It’s loaded with original detail in peak condition, including mantels, a pier mirror, stained glass windows, built-in leaded-glass cabinets, wood paneling, crown moldings, pocket doors and inlaid floors.
So the pair, who just completed a hit film together, “A Quiet Place,” netted about half a million from the sale — not counting costs such as renovation. Corcoran brokers Karen Talbott and Kyle Talbott had the listing.
