147 South Oxford Street might be just on the wrong side of the Fulton tracks when it comes to Fort Greene real estate, but it’s still one of only a handful of traditional prewar co-op buildings in the ‘hood, which means the apartments generally have nice proportions and historic charm. This two-bedroom, one-bath on the second floor, which just popped up in the Brownstoner Marketplace, doesn’t have as much curb appeal (as far as we can tell) as the identical apartment upstairs, but, at $457,000, it’s also priced lower than what that third-floor apartment sold for last year. The layout is quite good, though, and the monthly maintenance of $523 is sweet for a 700-square-foot apartment. What do you make of it?

Agree, likely chopped up. Would be nice to see more interior pictures. 700 feet is small for a 2br. Low maintenance, though.
In agreement with Bessie…looks like the original dining room was converted to a bedroom, creating a dark kitchen and a 2nd bedroom that’s a long ways from the bathroom and a dining area that’s not convenient to the kitchen. Also, the original bedroom on the left side is on the small side.
Compared to what is out there, layout isnt bad at all.
The dining room is a bit far from the kitchen, but it can still be workable. yay for the bathroom window…..that gives me a def thubs up
The layout really doesn’t seem that great to me. The two bedrooms are separated and there’s only one bath. There’s no window in the kitchen. I think this unit was part of a larger unit that was chopped up in the 1980’s. Good points are the relatively low maintenance and the pair of double windows in the living/dining room.
“doesn’t have as much curb appeal (as far as we can tell) as the identical apartment upstairs,”
This statement makes absolutely no sense whatsoever.
