This new listing at 175 Amity Street is a little hard to evaluate without a floorplan, but the main room of the one-bedroom co-op looks nice enough and it has access to a common roofdeck. The kitchen is lacking in character and, in the absence of photos or dimensions, we’re a little worried about what the bedroom might be like. The asking price is $410,000 with a $791 monthly maintenance. Realistic?

smug, so right. But that listing has an interesting edge to the decor and as a bonus comes with the superhero “christian powers”. He’s able to chase anyone back into the closet. YIKES! If I had that name, I’d change it. It will frighten gay children. Certainly frightens me.
its overpriced, but not as badly as this listing next door

Mr. Spiros need to lay off the fake tan lotion. And if property sells at ask they will only make about $6K. The listing agent(s) typically get 1/4th of the commission.
Nice block, but is it worth $2600 a month?
175-177 seem to have a lot of movement lately. Cute places, great street, I wonder about finances a little
If I own the house, I’ll “cope” with the stairs. If I buy an apartment, I want an elevator, unless it’s the garden duplex.
It’s a great block, and this apartment looks directly into Norah Jones’ house.
TextperV, would you need an elevator in your 3 or 4 story house?
Saw this apartment and sadly it lacks any character whatsover. The renovation was very poor.
Brownie, I find it offensive for you to even suggest that Mssrs. Spiros and Gerasimczyk should even bother taking any more effort to sell this property.
They’re only going to make like $12,000 after all… You’re lucky they even bothered to do more than hang a handwritten note on their office window.
