Condo of the Day: 560 State Street, #5B

560 State Street, aka Times Plaza, is neither the best-located nor the best-looking condo in Boerum Hill, but this particular unit, priced at under $500 a foot, strikes us a decent bang for the buck, especially with other units in the building priced at more than $600 a foot. What’s the catch? Not sure there really is one. We’re not wild about the kitchen, which has the feel of a sponsor-designed unit and the proximity to Flatbush doesn’t do much for the charm factor; on the flip side, though, this is a lot of space and is very convenient to BAM, Fort Greene and 5th Avenue in the Slope. What’s your take?
