Condo of the Day: 306 Gold Street, #19G
This two-bedroom condo at the Oro in Downtown Brooklyn just hit the market with an asking price of $1,100,000. While this represents a big increase over its 2010 sales price it’s actually cheap on a per square foot basis when compared with the other 12 units in the building that are currently on the market….

That’s surprising, given that this is a corner apartment on a high floor. Buying opportunity?

the living room space pictured is awful. the space is too small. who would shove a TV in front of a window like that, oh, there was no other place.
Actually, there is no way to arrange furniture in that room.
horrible.
is it really hard for a builder/designer to design a room that actually has a way for comfortable furniture placement.
I absolutely agree. The living dining kitchen space on almost all new construction is really a lousy plan when the space is small. Open concept to me should be more loft like, with a vast amount of space. NOT a living room with kitchen cabinets in the corner, like we all see everday here.
This is why I constantly say, lose the 2nd bathroom. Your not dealing with a lot of space, so that bathroom, which does not get used every second of the day, to me, becomes wasted space.
Now if the spaces were larger, sure, add 4 bathrooms, but these days space is so limited, to many bathrooms are a waste.
