Back in 2008, after a top-to-bottom renovation, the four units at 24 Remsen Street hit the market as condos. The timing could not have been worse, and the developer (a Brownstoner advertiser) ultimately pivoted and ended up renting out the truly gorgeous floor-through pads. Now he’s testing the waters again, putting the second-floor unit on the market last week for $2,100,000. At 1,404 square feet, that puts the price at almost $1,500 a foot, high even for Brooklyn Heights. But these places are extra-special so we wouldn’t write off the chances of this going at or close to ask.
