As if you couldn’t tell from the number of Condo of the Day mentions, we have a thing for the apartments at 110 Livingston Street in Downtown Brooklyn. This fourth-floor unit isn’t quite as sexy as the last one we featured, but it’s a very solid one-bedroom with all the standard Two Trees finishes. The asking price is $610,000, which seems a little pricy to us for 723 square feet, especially since there’s a slightly larger one-bedroom on the 11th floor currently listed for $560,000; then again, there’s a 10th floor one-bedroom that’s asking $620,000, so maybe there’s some meaningful difference that’s not captured by standard metrics. In all cases, the common charges are around $400.

In a one bedroom, there is no need for 2 sinks in a bathroom, ever heard of wait your turn. The open shelving in the kitchen looks like an Ikea special, and I would not like my dishes pots and other stuff out for full view.
The KLDR all together could it be any smaller.
and yes, I agree with the OP, can anyone ever come up with another tyoe of floorplan.
What ever happened to foyers???
Two sinks in the bathroom are a bit much. For me, personally, the bathroom and kitchen take up too much space, but I’m not much of a cook. Overall it’s sort of standard-looking, but bright and pleasant enough. It certainly didn’t seem worth a click considering the small number of comments.
Mr. B, the 11th floor unit is cheaper (although slightly larger) because it’s actually not a legal one bedroom. It’s technically a studio with a windowless “home office”.
“LMAO of at what looks like an HUGE access panel on the wall in the bedroom. Someone tell me it ain’t.”
It ain’t. It’s the AC unit for the bedroom. It’s the exact same unit you’ll find in The Plaza Hotel condos on Central Park or the Jean Nouvel condo on 11th (among many others). Not sure why you think a fairly ubiquitous AC unit is something to “laugh your ass off” about.
If you really think these condos are “average at best”, I have to ask–do you live in NYC? I can’t imagine that anyone who is familiar with the housing stock here would think these apartments are middle of the road.
Unless you think the average NYC apartment is generally equipped with a $1200 kitchen faucet.
Does anyone know what happened to the 1400 sq ft 3BR that was featured back in June? The listing is no longer up.
Those are really nice kitchen islands and in a living space three times as large they might actually make sense.
It’s a master bedroom in the same sense as Dilbert was master of his cubicle.
$610k for a 240 square foot living/dining area.
If there is only one bath and one bedroom why is it necessary to call them “master”.
LMAO of at what looks like an HUGE access panel on the wall in the bedroom. Someone tell me it ain’t.
“we have a thing for the apartments at 110 Livingston Street”
Why? They’re average at best.
Sure they used nice appliances and overall the finishes look nice and neat….but like I said they’re average. Nothing design worthy to brag about.
Bamboo floors, one of the least expensive wood flooring material out there.
Open kitchen shelves: unless you’re only putting one vase on each shelf, it’ll look cluttered.
Bedroom size is on the small side. Good luck fitting a bed, night stands a dresser.
Closet space isn’t enough for two people.
And for the love of God, can someone come up with a floor plan where you enter the apt. and you don’t bump into the kitchen counter!
