This new listing at 459 12th Street is something out of the ordinary. Somehow, the owner’s managed to fit in an elaborate modern steel mezzanine into a single floor of a walk-up building at the corner of 8th Avenue and 12th Street in Park Slope. While not for everybody, the design certainly seems to make good use of the space. And if you don’t mind not having an elevator, getting 1,500 square feet of living space for $925,000 isn’t a bad deal either, especially when the maintenance is only $925. What do you make of it?
