I looked at a 1 bedroom in this building last year, and the price was 240k I believe. Didn’t end up going for that apartment, but I thought it was a very nice unit in a nice, affordable building, in a decent location. Now, $599k for a 2BR is a SERIOUS stretch, especially considering the relative middle of nowhere location on Ocean Pkwy. Yes it’s at the corner of Cortelyou, but a long walk to “Cortelyou” and the Q…and a similarly long walk, crossing Ocean Pkwy, to the F at Ditmas. Brooklyn Hearth has been overreaching for a while in Ditmas Park, but they seem to get it somehow in the end. They do take nicer photos than the average agent trolling these parts of Brooklyn.
.
I’ll start over.
How is this affordable?!?!?
