After trading for $984,000 back in 2005, this three-bedroom co-op at 39 Remsen Stret in Brooklyn Heights hit the market earlier this month with a price tag of $1,400,000. Based upon the lead photo that comes up when you open the listing, this ask didn’t seem crazy. After all, it’s a grand parlor floor living room with a beautiful old fireplace, moldings and 12-foot ceiling. Beautiful! As is much of the rest of the floor-through pad. Unfortunately, the listing has a couple of things working against it too: 1) A monthly maintenance of $2,323; 2) An entry way and kitchen design that does not match the grandeur or style of the rest of the apartment. Still, three-bedrooms are hard to come by in this part of town so we shall see.

The beautiful facade -including the columns- was completely restored last year and it looks great.
It is a beautiful apartment in a golden location for thems who can afford it.
