This co-op listing at 297 Sixth Avenue in Park Slope appears to work better than most floor-through apartments, in large part because the floorplate allows for a more generous layout and a few extra points of natural light. At $633 a month, the maintenance is certainly reasonable and the asking price of $799,000 is not too much higher than the $760,000 the place traded for back in 2008.

  1. I agree with stargazer, these tenement layouts are not ideal. In addition to spreading fire, the tiny airshafts also help carry smells and noise.
It would be better to seal them and place proper modern HVAC ducts in them.
