We don’t love the fact that you have to shlep through the foyer to get from the kitchen to the dining area, but otherwise this one-bedroom co-op at 245 Henry Street in Brooklyn Heights looks like a very nice pad. (We suspect most buyers will want to trade the wall-to-wall carpet for some nice old prewar wood floors, but that’s easily done.) Given that the building itself (while certainly no slouch) is not one of the handful of ritziest co-ops in the nabe, the asking price of $489,000 seems a little aggressive to us, but the location’s fantastic, the layout’s generous and the maintenance’s manageable so who knows.
