Actress Chloe Sevigny is selling the Classic Seven co-op she bought on Prospect Park West just over three years ago — and it’s a pretty smashing pad.

At 9 Prospect Park West, it’s one of the most desirable prewar co-ops in Brooklyn — a massive and elegant spread that overlooks the park, classic with some modern touches.

The onetime downtown scenester snagged the co-op in October 2013, making the move to Park Slope after 10 years in a garden apartment on 10th Street in the East Village. She opted for the land of stroller gridlock because she wanted to avoid “hip” Brooklyn and opt instead for the “dorkiest, hokiest neighborhood,” she told the Daily Beast the following year.

She also complained to the Daily Beast about the constant buzzing of planes overhead, so maybe that has something to do with her short tenure — or maybe all the dorkiness got to her.

Either way, it’s quite the stunning apartment she’s leaving behind. It’s got an elevator that opens directly into the apartment, four bedrooms, and three full baths. The grand living room has beamed ceilings, a stately decorative fireplace and windows overlooking the park.

There’s also an equally large dining room, an office with built-in shelves and desk, a large foyer and a ton of closet space. All told it’s around 2,100 square feet.

The place has gotten many recent updates, according to the listing, and overall has a more modern look than when Sevigny bought it. Gone are the peach walls in the living room; newer touches include a polished concrete floor in the kitchen and a cerused finish on the oak floors.

The eat-in kitchen is a nice one, with white subway tile and cabinetry and what looks like black granite counters.

There’s no laundry — presumably Chloe sent hers out — but machines can be added. There’s a full-time doorman and basement storage, including bike storage.

Listed by Corcoran brokers J. Eric Becker and Quinn Hagstrand, the co-op is asking $2.75 million. That’s about $700,000 more than Sevigny paid for it, so she stands to clear a few dollars if it goes for ask — though probably not all that much, given the updating and the broker’s fees. What do you think of the place?
