We’re not entirely sure about the chronology and mix of brokerage firms that have had their hands in the mix of selling 353 6th Street. According to StreetEasy, Douglas Elliman, Bond New York and Citi Habitats have all had some role in marketing the six-unit conversion project since it hit the market last spring. According to the listing broker at Citi Habitats, although five units still show up as being available, there are accepted offers on all of them; they’re still being shown until the contracts are signed though. Anyone been inside these?

“Calling the top floor a penthouse is also irritating.”
not quite as irritating as appending the basement and calling it a duplex…
> I’m guessing it’s like many divided brownstones, Snark…2 per floor.
Nope.

Ditto
I saw these back in the Spring. Bedrooms are a bit awkward with no closet space and a very weird bathroom squeezed in the master. Living space is very narrow. Kitchens are nice but I didn’t see them finished. Top floor gets a great deck/terrace but it’s only 1BR. Bottom floor with the backyard is probably the best bet and it’s been sold since spring AFAIK. What turned me off was bad bedroom layout and too far south.

We have looked at the apartment. It’s too small and there is no closet space. If they could make it nicer, it would definitely attract more people bidding.
These were quite poorly done when you actually look up close at the details. And, whoever the broker is keeps re-listing them as ‘new’ each week so they constantly look like they are just listed even though they’ve been on the market for quite some time. That’s really irritating.
That was my thought, but unless this building is really deep, I don’t know how they could fit them in.

How did they fit six units in this puppy? Is it two buildings side by side?
It would look much better if the windows weren’t white.
