    I looked at a two bedroom in this building a while back that was asking about the same price. It was a train wreck. The kitchen was a gut job, and there was a big crack in the wall of the small second bedroom.

    I hadn’t noticed the first floor factor in the unit above. That’s definitely a deal-killer for me.

  2. Snark, know that building very well. I think it’s overpriced for a 1st floor one bedroom. Some 2 bedrooms run in that range in the neighborhood but might need some updating. One bedroom (pretty crappy condition but livable) just went in my building (4 blocks away) on the 5th floor just went for 160K and it’s a good one bedroom with windowed eat-in kitchen and windowed bathroom with large living room and bedroom. The only small downside is that it faces Ocean PKWY which is a bit nosier than E7th street. For 40K, you can get a pretty nice kitchen and bathroom reno in this apartment and it’ll end up costing you under 200K so I think 240K is overpriced.
