i am biased toward PH, but i really like that washington ave building.
Forget where, but I read a wonderful piece about a guy living in the Ansonia. Oh yeah, it was “In the Country of Brooklyn”, the anthology of short memoirs of the borough.
Anyway, the man described witnessing the neighborhood change and how his 3 bedroom has spiked in value so. Every time I walk by there I think of that.
