Two of Brooklyn’s oldest boutique brokers have merged. Brooklyn Bridge Realty and Warren Lewis Sotheby’s International Realty teamed up under the name “Avenue Sotheby’s International Realty” in December.
Their three offices with 48 agents on Court Street in Cobble Hill, 7th Avenue in Park Slope and Bedford Avenue in Williamsburg will continue — only the awnings have changed. The firm sent out an official announcement Wednesday.

The newly combined company can serve clients over a broader area while still offering deep expertise in their respective neighborhoods.
Over the last decade, many boutique Brooklyn firms have been absorbed by bigger names seeking to expand in Brooklyn. In recent years, the industry has consolidated, in part fueled by the growth of SoftBank-backed Compass. Sister companies The Corcoran Group and Citi Habitats also plan to consolidate, the companies said Wednesday.
Avenue Sotheby’s International Realty is an independently owned and operated franchise affiliated with Sotheby’s International Realty.
