This week, a look back at four of our featured listings from six months ago focuses on homes in Park Slope, Bed Stuy, Crown Heights, and Kensington. How did they fare?

It is hard to know where to begin with the list of period details still intact in this 1880s Park Slope brownstone. Awash with woodwork, mantels, built-ins, marble sinks, tile, and mirrors, the house also embraces the style of the time with reproduction ceiling and wallpapers. This former House of the Day sold in June for $5.41 million, which was $410,000 over the asking price.

Set up as a triplex above a garden rental, this late 19th century brownstone on Madison Street in Bed Stuy has been gut renovated with modern finishes, leaving intact two eye-catching wood mantels. The parlor floor has been opened up and a new kitchen inserted; above are two levels of bedroom space. This former Open House Pick was taken off the market this month.

A renovation of this single-family on Carroll Street in Crown Heights left intact the staircase, columns, and some woodwork. The updated kitchen has blue cabinets, stone counters, and wood floors. Upstairs are three bedrooms and two bathrooms; the basement is finished and the home has been outfitted with central air. This former Open House Pick is still available for $2.349, a price cut of $151,000.

This World War II-era apartment offers a spacious layout and original details close to Prospect Park for under a million. It’s on the fourth floor of a six-story, 59-unit elevator building on Ocean Parkway in Kensington. This former Co-op of the Day sold in June for $880,000, which was $30,000 over the asking price.
