This week, a look back at four of our featured listings from six months ago focuses on homes in Bed Stuy, Park Slope, and East Flatbush. How did they fare?
First up, some lush early 20th century period details are still in evidence on the interior, but since it last sold in 2021 this Bed Stuy limestone row house has gotten a makeover that included a revamped kitchen, new deck, and tweaks to the floor plan. This former House of the Day sold in May for $4.2 million, which was $75,000 over the asking price.
A wood frame row house in Park Slope is set up with an updated owner’s duplex and a top floor rental. This former Open House Pick sold in July for $2.25 million, which was $99,000 under the asking price.
A short stroll from Grand Army Plaza and in the historic district, this Park Slope prewar one-bedroom in a 48-unit co-op has its original generously sized 1930s layout with a large foyer, wood floors, and a decent amount of storage. This former Co-op of the Day sold in June for $900,000, which was $105,000 over the asking price.
Finally, in East Flatbush, this mid-20th century semi-detached brick two-family is in estate condition and has a private driveway. This former Open House Pick sold in July for $660,000, which was $35,000 under the asking price.
