Bay Ridge Floor-Through With Exposed Brick, Laundry, Central AC Asks $2,500 a Month

This Bay Ridge apartment looks bright, spacious and attractive, and it’s got a deck and a backyard. It’s on the first floor of a turreted three-story house at 132 86th Street, between Colonial Road and Ridge Boulevard.
It’s a standalone house, which accounts for the brightness: there’s a lot of windows. The layout isn’t totally clear: it’s listed as a two-bedroom, but the listing calls it a “walk-thru,” which raises the question of how private the bedrooms are, and whether this is suitable for a roommate share.
In any case, there’s a decent sized living room with a big brick hearth and a separate dining area with a pair of stained glass windows, with parquet floors throughout. The bedroom pictured is good-sized and closeted. The kitchen is modest and short on counter space, but it’ll do.

The deck is small, but you’ve got the yard, a big bricked-in patio with a host of evergreens; it’s not clear whether its all yours or shared with the other occupants. There’s a washer/dryer and central AC, and there’s parking available for an additional fee.
Listed by Justine Torchio of Corcoran, the apartment is renting for $2,500. Which seems pretty reasonable; what do you think?
