An upper triplex in a Bed Stuy townhouse has handsome mantels with colorful tile, central air, and a deck with steps down to the backyard. It’s located at 285 A Halsey Street, a 16.25-foot-wide brick and brownstone row house with arches, terra-cotta details, and original ironwork.

It’s laid out with living room, dining room, and kitchen on the parlor floor. Above are two more floors with five bedrooms; bathrooms total 3.5.

Running throughout the parlor level are herringbone floors and whimsical woodwork with strappy details. Both parlors have carved wood mantels with Minton-style tile in shades of green, yellow, and blue. In the rear parlor is the mostly white kitchen with an island with room for seating.
