The new condo development at 56 South 3rd Street in Williamsburg hit the market in late April of this year and by the end of May five out of the six units were in contract. The final one –a 1,400-square-foot garden apartment — was spoken for by the end of June, putting the total sellout time at two months. Not bad for the location, especially given the fact that the average price per square foot topped $950. According to the broker, closings are expected to begin “shortly.” GMAP
