After turning down a “reasonable” offer from the owners of the bike shop that used to occupy the ground floor, the seller of 147 Union Street in the Columbia Waterfront District has gone into contract for $1 million, according to Realty Collective. That’s $100,000 less than the asking price on the three-story building. Meanwhile, the bike shop has decamped to 514 Court Street and 147 Union will soon have an insurance brokerage. GMAP
The woman that runs the Court St. location is hideous. After getting terrible customer service from the kids that were working there, she tried to strong arm me into taking a bike that was the wrong model because the kids put the wrong one together. Then, one of those kids stole my credit card number and bought a bunch of games online. Yay for fraud protection!
I think this is same bike shop that got booted from Smith st. For redevelopment purposes.
Now Smith St has a big empty lot for long time now. (Douglass St)
