  1. Besides the 7 years away (4 years college & 3 years after college living in Boston and upstate NY), I have lived in Queens all my life.

So let’s see that’s 28 years growing up in Elmhurst and living in 3 other Queens neighborhoods since my 7 year hiatus.

  2. The Tomato Gals…
Katie has lived in Queens her whole life growing up in Rockaway Park. She now lives in Woodside. Fran grew up in Brooklyn, now a Rockaway resident for over 20 years. I’ve lived in Ridgewood for 4 years – raised in Nassau. Flo grew up in Bushwick. When she married, she moved out to Bellerose. Flo decided to move a few blocks east (Nassau County) when she had children (for the school districts) – typical migration for her generation.

  3. I lived in Forest Hills and Kew Gardens from 2004 to 2006, but recently I’ve lived in Woodside and Jackson Heights – pretty much along the 7 train line – since 2006. As originally a city kid from the Upper West Side, I’ve taken to Queens in a big way.
