To understand mucking out the Rockaways after Hurricane Sandy, here's an infographic

We thought this infographic – aptly entitled “What the Muck?” – is pretty good at visualizing the muck-out needs in the Rockaways. “Muck out” translates the process of cleaning out debris and water-damaged materials from homes (just be careful of the mold). NY Cares has been out there doing a lot of volunteering and mucking out, and they put together this infographic. Click to enlarge.
