Little Oven, home to French macarons in LIC, closes on Thursday

We were sorry to see that Little Oven, a tiny spot that served french macarons and other sweet things in LIC, is closing. Their final day of business is Thursday, August 30. From their newsletter:

We cannot begin to thank you for your patronage and support of Little Oven from its inception as an online boutique to our truly “little” shop in Long Island City. A move to Tokyo has made it difficult to continue the business, and we will be closing both our online boutique and our Long Island City shop at the end of this month. Our last day in business will be Thursday, August 30th, and we do hope that if you are in the area, you will stop by!
It has been our pleasure serving you, and we do hope that you enjoyed our macarons!
