This group is bi-country, multi-talented and poly-harmonic, but they are also super unique. Siusan O’Rourke and Zig Zeitler, a married couple nominated as Top Duo by the Irish Music Association, will peform with folk singer/songwriter Donie Carroll (second from right above) and John Nolan (below), the 1982 All Ireland Champion in the button accordion category this Saturday at the New York Irish Center. All four musicians split time between Ireland and New York, and their styles reflect a love of both cultures. And since times are hard, the Long Island City venue will offer half-price admission to the unemployed, students and seniors.
Details: Irish Music Night, New York Irish Center, 10-40 Jackson Avenue, Long Island City, January 11th, 7:30 pm, $22/$11 the unemployed, seniors and students.
