This Hunter’s Point one bedroom plus office is asking just a smidge over $1,000 a square foot: $850,000 for the 843 square foot space. It’s a decent size for a one bedroom. The home office looks a little bigger in the photos than it does in the floor plan and it comes with a built-in Murphy bed/desk wall unit in the office so it’s more of an office/guest room than just an office nook. We’re not entirely sure what the broker means by, “installed in home office area are built-in air ducts for a/c & heating.” Perhaps its a hint that you can close the doors, open the Murphy bed and have a heated and cooled (though windowless and therefore not exactly legal) second bedroom?
The building has a roof deck, part time doorman and gym. The apartment seems like a nice condo on par with other new offerings in the area. Is it worth over $1,000 a square foot?

No.
And this is a lie: “Accessible within a stone’s throw to the 7 line – 1st stop (5 mins) from Grand Central, downtown Manhattan. And a 10 min walk to Court Square with its access to the E, M and G train.”
