A Meaty Culinary Tour of Jackson Heights

Jackson Heights is well-known for its fantastic array of ethnic food. DNAinfo has put together a meat lovers tour of the neighborhood and surrounding areas covering the carnivorous gamut from burgers and barbeque to tacos and veal. Among the top picks are Alchemy, Texas BBQ (pictured above) at the back of Legend’s Bar in Jackson Heights. Alchemy landed the second place spot in the Village Voice’s list of the ten best barbeque restaurants in the city (three of the top ten were in queens) and is affiliated with John Brown Smokehouse. The flank steak sandwich at the Elmhurst Argentine steakhouse La Fusta is not on the menu but its worth a special request.
