It’s the real Field of Dreams. This weekend, the public will be able to spend the night where the Mets play their home games during the first-ever Citi Field Sleepover. (Those with sleeping bags can camp out on the grass; those with tents can stay on the warning track.) The gates will open at 5 pm on Saturday, and the Citi Vision board above centerfield will broadcast the Mets away game against the Arizona Diamondbacks. Dinner — mostly hot dogs, of course — will be served in the FanFest section, and Mr. and Ms. Met will be on hand for photos and fun. There will also be a late night snack at the Modell’s Clubhouse and breakfast the next morning. As a parting gift, each attendee will receive a free ticket to the Mets home game against the Milwaukee Brewers on Sept. 28.

Details: Citi Field Sleepover, inside Citi Field, Aug. 10, 5 pm, until Aug. 11, 8 am, $200 for 1-3 tickets, $175 for 4-6 tickets. Only 500 tickets will be available for purchase.
