We’re a little surprised this listing for the house at 30-66 45th Street in Astoria does not come with the requisite “Needs TLC” disclaimer, but the pictures speak a thousand words: An exterior that looks worse for the wear, an overgrown yard, chain link fence. You get the picture. There is a driveway and garage, which is a nice bonus. And the house is across the street from the Astoria Heights Playground. The block only looks so-so to us, and the closest subway is the M/R station at 46th Street five blocks away. The asking price: $994,000. Do they even have a shot at getting this?
