For many Christians in the Spanish-speaking world, December 25 is special, but it’s also a prelude to something super special: Three Kings Day on January 6. A bit early on Saturday, January 5, the Latin American Cultural Center of Queens will celebrate this annual ritual with a re-enactment of the visit Gaspar, Melchior and Balthasar (aka the Wise Men or Magi) paid to Baby Jesus after his birth, according to the New Testament. Of course, this event will have a distinctly Latin flair with Mariachis, dancing, food and presents for children.
