Burst of Progress at 210 North 12th Street Overlooking McCarren Park

The skeleton of a building is rising at 210 North 10th Street. Although this project has been in the works since at least 2007, the site has been an empty lot for years. We’re surprised it’s taking this long, but at least it appears to be back on track. A new building application from 2007 was renewed in July. It calls for an eight-story, purely residential apartment building with 42 units. The architect is Philip Toscano. In 2007, MDIM designed a mixed-use building with 34 apartments at this spot, and the design may still be valid because the shape of the building appears to be the same.
