The Hunt keeps it real this week, shlepping out beyond Prospect Park to follow the play-by-play as the Cheddy family trades up from a two-bedroom on Ocean Parkway in Kensington to a semi-detached house on Second Street in Midwood. The Hunt’s territorial adventurousness happens to mirror our own activities this weekend. With the mother-in-law in town, we got a rare couple of hours to ourself to spend some quality time exploring the back streets of Victorian Flatbush. Armed with a map courtesy of Mary Kay, we took our most extensive tour yet of the nabe. Every time we drive through, our mind gets blown again by this architectural oasis. So for the rest of the week, we’ll be dropping some of our favorite outtakes from the tour. Next time we’ll plan ahead and try to get a look inside some of these glorious homes.

The article says there was a house in Midwood they *didn’t* buy. It sounds like the place they did buy on E. 2nd is in Kensington.
