Between the Novo and the Argyle, an 11-story, 51-unit building is on the way, designed by New Rochelle architect Richard Bienenfeld. Looks from the DOB filings like all’s gone well with the production, though it’s been quiet every time we’ve gone past. We scoured Bienenfeld’s Web site for signs of the building-to-be, and the rendering on the jump is the closest we could find. Thoughts? GMAP P*Shark DOB

  1. I doubt it is that building. There is a church of some sort across from the Argyle. That pic has a large glass office bldg.

Agree on the Argyle. I passed by there and notice they made the 7th street side lower (only 5 floors I think) than the 4th Ave side. Nice!

  2. I think the Argyle looks great. At least if it ends up looking like the advertisements’ depictions, it’s going to be a very nice looking building and an improvement to 4th ave.
