The Gowanus is getting a tad gentrified so I went up to the stretch of First Avenue from 39th to 58th street which turns out to be the only stretch of First Avenue that there is , and since it’s Sunset Park, I went there for the sunset…Looking north at about 41st street. A construction bridge – hmm, there goes the neighborhood.
what about the rest of sunset park? it is a huge neighborhood, with a lot of diverse housing stock. these photos don’t show the neighborhood at all. nobody lives in the area you photographed. i mean, you didn’t even show the peep show clubs nearby (3rd ave in sunset park is the new 42nd street, if you were wondering where all the smut had gone).
