The DOB issued a new-building permit for the large structure at 308 Eckford Street nearly a decade ago, but signs indicating that habitation are actually on the horizon have only recently popped up. The city issued a temporary C-of-O for it effective last Thursday, and the building’s website says it’s going to be ready for prime time next month. The site says rents on the 43 apartments are running from $1195.00 for studios up to an unspecified amount for duplexes; one-bedrooms start at $1,800 and two-bedrooms at $2,700. The development saw quite a few complaints from neighbors and stop-work orders from the city over the years. It’s unclear to us whether this was originally planned as a condo, and a call to the rental agent was not returned. Click through for a back-side view of the building. GMAP DOB
there are no windows cuz they probably built right up to the lot line most likely.

Is the yellow stripes on the balconies the finished look? Cuz I like it… think it’s snazzy.
Yeah, the lack of windows on the back is a bit odd.

Looks like their window budget ran out after one side.
