A touring virtual reality film festival is coming to Dumbo.

The Kaleidoscope Virtual Reality Film Festival is passing through New York next week after several stops on the West Coast. The very real festival will be screening 20 virtual films, with subjects ranging from the first animated virtual cartoon, BUTTS, to a documentary about the Korean Demilitarized Zone.

Viewers will don virtual-reality headgear to view the films, according to reports. All filmmakers featured in the festival are independent.

General admission tickets for the event are sold out, but VIP tickets are still available for $99. The festival takes place from 8-11 p.m. on Tuesday, October 6 at 26 Bridge Street in Dumbo.
