Umm – I’d say that Downtown Brooklyn would technically be on the West Side of Flatbush Ave Ext. – so Avalon Ft. Greene seems reasonably accurate to me

are these related to the avalons in manhattan on the LES!? those buildings are seriously post college dorms for ex fratboys and sorority chicks. why you would want a gigantic building full of those types in brooklyn is mind boggling.

Hopefully they’ll keep the rents reasonable and fill it up quickly.
The famous Dakota apt bldg on CPW isn’t in north or south Dakota. So don’t worry about calling this Avalon Ft. Greene.
John Catsimatidis building is also moving up fast. It is up to the 5th of 8 floors. Pretty simple structure – all concrete block – but it looks like it should be done by summer. Here comes that neighborhood supermarket (finally)!
