Nostrand Avenue Cleanup Day Tomorrow

Councilwoman Letitia James’ office sent out a notice about the Nostrand Avenue cleanup that’s happening tomorrow in Crown Heights North. The cleanup, which is aimed at supporting businesses on the avenue, will include graffiti removal, store front cleaning, garbage removal and street tree care. The nonprofit NYC Community Clean Up will lead the graffiti and garbage removal efforts, while Prospect Heights Street Tree Task Force will be in charge of the tree care. It kicks off at 10 a.m. at 685 Nostrand Avenue, between Prospect Place and Park Place, and runs until 2 p.m.
