It seems unlikely that the closing could have happened considering we just reported it going into contract, but the first phase of renovation has already started at 405 Clinton Avenue: A tipster sent in this photo from Wednesday of several demolition carts getting filled in front of the haunted mansion. This is going to be fun to watch.

  1. BRG: I live across the street and I looked in the dumpsters to see what they were throwing away and it was nothing but junk. Several dumpsters full of gatorade bottles, filthy couch cushions, vertical blinds, motorcycle helmets, moldy ratty curtains. I was secretly hoping there would maybe be some antique furniture in the mix… but nothing.
