Remember back in August when we told you that Chase was taking over three storefronts at the corner of Myrtle and Vanderbilt Avenues on the Clinton Hill/Fort Greene border? Well, it’s definitely happening. Witness the white-and-blue signage that now adorns the plywood construction fence. In the background, that’s 175 Vanderbilt Avenue rising.

  1. I agree that it is a bland choice. Fortunately, right down the street there is a better alternative: Brooklyn Cooperative FCU. We are deeply committed to Bed-Stuy and Clinton Hill, along with our main branch in Bushwick. And I can assure you that, unlike WaMu et al, we will be here for years to come!

  2. I for one am glad because the other location was desolate. Having the entrance on Flushing after closing made me anxious as I went up the steps and fiddled with the cardkey which took forever to buzz me in.Since the pizzeria is open, i feel a little better . This one is on a busy strip.

  3. I am thrilled, because right now we have to walk to Montague or Park Slope to not pay atm fees. But, oh, right. Zomg, evul bank! WAH!~ wHY R NOT organic fruit market, wah! I dunno! Buyrz local!
