On Saturday, March 26th at 10 a.m., the Fulton Area Businesses Alliance will hand out 300 free trees “to plant in your front or back yard, at your business, or at your church, school or apartment complex (as long as it’s private property).” The alliance says the giveaway was so popular last year that it’s increased the number of trees it’s providing from 200 to 300. The event is taking place at the Putnam Triangle at Fulton Street and Grand Avenue.
300 Free Trees to be Given Away [FAB]

last year this event was barely publicized and the line was 3 hours long. I’m sure people will start waiting EARLY to get free stuff. One should enlist the drug dealers who are standing at that corner anyway…
I want a tree, but I have no idea where to put it even though the tree-pick uppery is so close to me. I’ll happily pick up a tree for anyone, and transport it, a meager five or ten dollar shipping and handling fee, i.e. me lugging it to you is all I ask. I’ll probably just settle for 2.75.
Email me and maybe we can work something out. blayzeobrien@gmail.com

The password is… aborephobia.
Apply to the City via 311 & they’ll put one in. I suppose if you have a pit you can try doing it on your own.
can one just plant a tree in front of their property or do they have to get a permit?

By the way, are these real trees? Or those little tiny seedling you plant on arbor day?
Stargazer… we get it. You hate trees and your shitty neighbors and you don’t want to see trees or candy wrappers in the tree pits.
No oxygen for you!
