115 Kane StreetThe 12-unit new development at 115 Kane Street finally looks ready, reports Lost City, which, in the process, calls the 7-story structure a “far-above-average piece of crapitecture.” We’re not sure we’d give it that much credit, but we are glad to see that the scenic corner overlooking the BQE will no longer be an eyesore of a work site. We wrote about the project in early 2007 and in late 2006. What do you think of it? GMAP

  1. The current and future tenants (especially with kids) should invest in some respirators. The gas tanks from the former gas station that was on the site were pulled out in the middle of the night. A standing pool of oil was present and quickly covered by gravel before the foundation pour. Development at its absolute worst during the development boom.

  2. I don’t know if this is cause for celebration. It has got to be one of the uglier buildings in the area — just heinous — especially in contrast to Cobble Hill Towers across the Street.
