This sign for Masons, for example, is on the side of a building on St. John’s Place in Crown Heights.

  1. I’ve seen this and it’s such an interesting piece.

    A few years ago a building on Fourth Avenue that was demolished to make way for condos unearthed a pristine hand-painted advertisement dating back many decades. It was quite a sight!
